Frühlingsgefühle – Mama Elephant | Stempelwunderwelt Blog

Hallo allerseits! Nachdem in Österreich in der vergangenen Woche der Frühling schon greifbar nahe war, freute ich mich schon darauf, die hellen, fröhlichen Farben wieder auszupacken. Ich habe meine erste Frühjahrs-Karte mit neuen Mama Elephant Stempeln gestaltet und in nächster Zeit werden sicher noch einige hinzu kommen 🙂

Ich probiere sehr gerne neue Techniken aus, trotzdem komme ich immer wieder auf „klassische“ Karten, die süße Szenen abbilden, zurück. Die heutige Karte ist eine davon.

Mit Schablonen von My favorite things und Distress Oxide Stempelfarben habe ich einen Hintergrund mit Wiesen und Himmel gestaltet. Diesen habe ich dann mit der „All prettied up“ Stanze ausgestanzt.

Anschließend wurden einige Motive aus „Little agenda trains„, „Lil‘ Painters„, und dem neuen Set „Little Chickie Agenda“ mit Memento tuxedo in schwarz gestempelt und mit Copic Stiften koloriert. Die Sets harmonieren einfach perfekt miteinander. Mit Hilfe der Stanzen waren alle Teile im Nu „ausgeschnitten“.

Ich habe alles auf dem Hintergrund befestigt und entschied mich noch für einen ganz kleinen Gruß aus dem Set „Wild Meadow„. Gestempelt habe ich ihn mit Pumpkin Spice Lawn Fawn Stempelfarbe und dann per Hand ausgeschnitten.

Ich wählte für die Karte eine klassische weiße Kartenbasis und da war sie auch schon fertig.

Hello everyone! Last week spring greeted us in Austria and I really looked forward to using all the happy spring-like colors again. That’s why I created my first spring/Easter card with the new Mama Elephant sets and I am sure there will be some more in the near future 🙂

I really love trying new techniques; however, I always return to sweet scene cards, as the one I show you today.

I created a background using stencils from My favorite things and Distress oxide ink blending. I made three different grass layers and the sky. Then I diecut the background with the „All prettied up“ die.

Afterwards a bunch of images from „Little agenda trains„, „Lil‘ Painters„, and the new set „Little Chickie Agenda“ were stamped with Memento tuxedo ink and colored with Copic markers. The sets are just a perfect match. With the help of the dies the images were cut within a few minutes.

I adhered everything to the cardbase and decided to add a tiny sentiment from the set „Wild Meadow“ which I stamped with Pumpkin Spice Lawn Fawn die ink. I chose a classic white cardbase and the card was all done.
